Bainbridge Island city hall Community Solar project
Over 20 Bainbridge Island community members have expressed interest to invest in the community solar project at the City Hall. This provides a total of about 60 kW. With May just around the corner, and the solar production season beginning, we are finalizing all of the details to get ready for installation.

Residents of two communities are getting ready to put sunshine into their wallets
Two new Go Solar campaigns are now launched. Residents and businesses located in 98072 and 98077 in Woodinville, as well as those who live in Skagit County can take advantage of the bulk-purchasing discounts program, free site assessments, and easy financing options to go solar during the two and half month campaigns.

Go Solar Bainbridge and Go Solar Bellingham
The two Go Solar community campaigns in fall, 2011 are completed. We are pleased to announce that Community Energy Solutions' outreach has successfully brought a total of almost 250 people to the workshops on Bainbridge Island and Bellingham, and has resulted in more than 260 kilowatts of new solar energy. Together, we are helping to avoid over 120 MT of carbon in the atmosphere each year. The majority of the solar panels were made locally in Washington State, cycling jobs and energy dollars to the local economy.
